Sam Roberts is a New York author and journalist who has been a reporter, columnist and editor for The New York Daily News and The New York Times.
He is currently an obituarist for The Times and is the host of The Times' weekly TV program on CUNY-TV. His books include "Are They Dead Yet?: The Art of the Obit"; "The New Yorkers"; "A History of New York in 101 Objects"; and "The Brother: The Untold Story of the Rosenberg Atom Spy Case." He is a graduate of Cornell University.
